We are looking for a skilled Dynatrace Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade observability solutions across complex environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and working closely with DevOps/SRE teams to drive proactive monitoring and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage Dynatrace across complex environments (on-premises, cloud, and containerized platforms)

• Design and maintain observability across:

  • Infrastructure (VMs, hosts, containers)

  • Applications and microservices

  • Digital Experience (RUM, Synthetic Monitoring)

• Configure dashboards, alerts, and custom metrics aligned with operational and business KPIs

• Support incident analysis and performance troubleshooting using Dynatrace tools (PurePath, Smartscape, Service Flow)

• Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to enhance monitoring strategies and operational processes

• Drive automation initiatives and enable proactive monitoring practices

• Maintain documentation and best practices for observability frameworks

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace in enterprise environments

• Strong understanding of:

  • Application Performance Monitoring (APM)

  • Infrastructure and cloud monitoring

  • Distributed systems and microservices architecture

• Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

• Ability to analyze performance issues and translate insights into actionable improvements

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Dynatrace Associate or Professional Certification

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments

• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience integrating Dynatrace with logging/monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK, or Splunk

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset

• Proactive approach to monitoring and continuous improvement

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Good documentation and stakeholder communication skills
