We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester with Insurance domain experience to support quality assurance activities for a 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test case design, defect reporting, and familiarity with insurance industry applications. Experience in QA within insurance companies will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases based on business and functional requirements

• Perform end-to-end testing of insurance applications and workflows

• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using JIRA

• Maintain test documentation and reports using Confluence

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure defect resolution

• Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA inputs early in the SDLC

• Ensure thorough validation of releases before production deployment

• Support regression, functional, and system testing activities

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing (Mid-level profile)

• Prior experience in Insurance domain QA is highly preferred

• Strong hands-on experience with JIRA for defect tracking

• Experience using Confluence for documentation and test reporting

• ISTQB certification is mandatory

• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to design effective test cases

• High attention to detail in identifying and reporting defects

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong ownership and accountability
