Senior Software Engineer – AI & Cloud Engineering

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design scalable backend systems, drive automation, and help shape the future of AI-powered software development. This is a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado.

Senior Software Engineer – AI & Cloud Engineering

What You´ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET 8+

  • Develop cloud-native applications and integration services on AWS

  • Design and implement APIs, orchestration workflows, and event-driven architectures across internal and external systems

  • Build automation solutions that integrate services, data sources, messaging platforms, and third-party applications

  • Integrate Claude-based AI capabilities to enhance engineering workflows, business processes, and operational efficiency

  • Develop and maintain MCP servers and secure AI tool integrations

  • Design and implement AI agent workflows for automation, orchestration, and decision support

  • Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous reliability improvements

  • Contribute to architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and maintainability

  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver high-quality end-to-end solutions

  • Participate in code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and mentor other software engineers

  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI and cloud technologies and recommend solutions that create business value

  • Champion a culture of innovation, automation, and engineering excellence

What You´ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development, or Cloud Application Development

  • Strong experience developing applications with C# and .NET 8+ (or recent .NET versions)

  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and distributed systems

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development

  • Experience building integrations across APIs, messaging systems, and external platforms

  • Experience implementing event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration

  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including Claude or other large language models, and their application in software engineering

  • Experience building or integrating AI agents, MCP servers, or AI-powered developer tools is highly desirable

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, security, and performance optimization

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and modern software delivery practices

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams

  • Experience working with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams

  • Passion for building high-quality software, mentoring engineers, and driving continuous improvement

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
