Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend solutions, following software engineering and architecture best practices.
Translate business and technical requirements into robust and maintainable software solutions.
Develop backend services and applications using modern software engineering practices.
Design and implement solutions in Cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation across the software development lifecycle.
Work with relational and non-relational databases, data models and data-driven applications.
Collaborate with Software Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Use modern development tools, including AI-powered coding agents, to improve productivity, code quality and development workflows.
Contribute to technical design, architecture decisions and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into software solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the reliability, maintainability and performance of applications.
Document technical solutions, architectures and development processes.
Work in an Agile environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Skills

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical areas.
3–4 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development or a related field.
Strong hands-on Backend Software Engineering experience.
Good understanding of Software Architecture and Design principles.
Experience with Cloud technologies and environments.
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of databases and data modelling.
Good knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards and version control.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira and Confluence.
Experience or interest in using AI-powered coding agents and modern AI-assisted development tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Curious mindset and willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).

Nice to Have

Experience with Agentic AI/AI Agents.
Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Experience with Model Routing and/or AI model orchestration.
Knowledge of Loop Engineering/AI development loops.
Experience with Fine-tuning or model adaptation.
Experience integrating AI capabilities into production applications.
Previous experience working on AI-driven products or platforms.
